We had the most fantastic time at a wonderful B&B on the Big Island! Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. the grounds were absolutely stunning with lush tropical vegetation, stunning flowers, and even fruit trees! We stayed in two rooms during our trip - the mermaid and moonlight hideaway. Both had private lanais and provided beautiful wilderness views. the breakfast was delicious with freshly cooked hot dishes and a variety of honey, fruits, and pastries. the room amenities were fantastic, with snorkel gear, bug spray, and toiletries provided.

Spent Xmas in paradise! The breakfast was amazing with coffee and fresh avocado. The hosts were welcoming, fun and made great friends with other guests. The property was an amazing oasis where we enjoyed a great dinner on the beach with a sunset view while learning hula lessons. We also borrowed free snorkel gear and were given insider tips on the best snorkelling spots to see turtles, dolphins and a shark!
Nothing negative to say, wish we could've stayed longer!

I had the most wonderful stay at a charming oasis in Big Island. The hosts, Heather and Bud, were so friendly and welcoming, making me feel like part of their family. The lush grounds of Mermaid Dreams truly felt like a tropical paradise, filled with palm trees and beautiful flowers. The available amenities, including snorkel gear and bug spray, were a lifesaver. The rooms, whether it was the cozy mermaid room or the inviting moonlight hideaway, provided a private and peaceful experience. Waking up to the sounds of birds and the refreshing breeze was simply magical. And let's talk about the breakfast - it was a feast fit for royalty! With homemade waffles and pancakes, fresh eggs and quiche, and a spread of delicious breads and pastries, I was never left hungry. The coffee was also top-notch. The binder of activities and the helpful suggestions from Heather and Bud made sure I never ran out of things to do. Being able to meet and chat with other guests over breakfast was an added bonus. I had an exceptional experience at this lovely B&B. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil and authentic stay in nature.
